Claire and Jonathan had an intimate wedding at Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth, and had a fun dinner with family and friends afterwards at Los Vaqueros Restaurant at the Stockyards. Do you remember seeing their preview?
This awesome couple planned a wedding in Dallas, while living overseas in New Zealand! After receiving an email from Claire saying she loved the photos on the site, we set up a time to chat over the phone (with a 7 hour time difference!). After they reserved their date some of the things we chatted about before their wedding day were a wedding day timeline, areas around the chapel for group portraits, and ideas and places for photos in between the ceremony and reception (they are craft beer lovers!).
All of this before we met in person, super easy though – we even sat down together to go over everything a couple of weeks prior to their wedding while they were in the area.
Their wedding day started with Claire getting ready at the Texas White House Bed & Breakfast, a unique bed and breakfast housed in an historic 100-year-old home. The weather was perfect, and certainly led to some outdoor bridal portraits. From there the bridal party went over to the Woodshed Smokehouse for some delicious bbq, in her wedding dress and all! Following the ceremony we all went to the T&P Tavern in Fort Worth for a couple of beers, then finished up the evening with a fun dinner with family and friends at Los Vaqueros in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
You could certainly see the care Claire and Jonathan had for each other, as well as the love their families had for them. Such an awesome day!
