Dallas wedding photographers review by Kim and Matt
Our spring wedding was a casual affair with a focus on bringing our family and friends together to share our joy in a beautiful place (White Rock Lake). In my search for a photographer I looked at a lot of online portfolios… and I was immediately struck by Scott’s style, which seemed to emphasize the important things to me – the people and the atmosphere. All without a lot of unnecessary stylization. His photos of our wedding day are simply beautiful!
Working with Scott couldn’t have been easier. We emailed and talked on the phone before meeting up for our engagement shoot at the Dallas Arboretum. My (now) hubby and I were feeling a little insecure about the session, but Scott made us feel at ease and had great ideas for locations and poses that brought a lot of variety to our photos. Needless to say, we were really happy with the results, and even though I initially thought we didn’t need to do an engagement shoot, I was really happy that we did. Not only did we get awesome photos, but it gave us a chance to work with Scott before our big day.
Scott was great during both the wedding and reception. He seemed to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time, and really captured the mood of us and the guests with super fun candid shots. The posed family portraits of us and the bridal party also came out beautifully. We ended up ordering two albums from him and are very happy with the results. He sent us a link to the album before it went to print, so we were able to look over the whole thing and make edits, super easy!
The bottom line is Scott is a professional who was easy to work with and captured our special day in a beautiful way!
Thanks so much Scott!
